A Different Direction

A well-respected radio Program Director was fired this week in St. Louis after 7 highly-successful years. The company told him they thought it was "time to part ways."

It reminds me of a friend who ran a top-rated station in Chicago a couple of years ago. When he was let go, the General Manager told him they were "going in a different direction." Considering that he had helped make the station's ratings go nowhere but up, guess which direction it headed after he was no longer there? And guess which GM isn't there anymore, either?
